Today we are digging a bit deeper to explain a bit more about the first phase of our growth plan.
Elumicate’s primary goal is to track outdoor traffic activity across the globe. In order to do so, capture devices need to be strategically placed in key areas. As luck would have it, there are already thousands of cameras already set up and streaming in prime locations throughout the world. Not only that, but these cameras are easily accessible from any remote location.
Phase 1 of our growth plan involves connecting our tracking software to these public cameras, allowing anyone to download and run our mining software on their personal computers to quickly and easily begin mining traffic data.
The mining software does all the work. It automatically connects to randomized camera feeds, tracks traffic data, and uploads that data to a central database for future access. Participants running the mining software are rewarded with Elumicate tokens according to their mining uptime. Participation is quick, easy, and straightforward.
What makes phase 1 different?
The main difference is that phase 1 does not require the miner to be in a special or specific location to participate, mine data, and earn rewards.
All other phases will require users to install and set up a camera (phase2) or all in one capture device (phase3) in a physical location in order to participate. Participants in later phases will be rewarded by captured events and not accumulated uptime, making device placement important to maximize rewards.
Another difference is that phase 1 requires constant communication with an external camera feed (the equivalent of watching YouTube 24hrs per day). While most high speed internet users won’t not notice any difference in performance, and most high speed plans offer unlimited upload and download usage, this is something participants will need to consider. Phase 2 and phase 3 will require minimal amounts of data transfers and will be able to run on limited bandwidth network connections.
Phase 1 is the easiest way to start mining data and begin earning rewards. With limited availability, phase1 NFTs (an NFT is required in order to participate in data mining) have the potential to be in high demand.
Advantages

- Get started with just a computer and a high-speed internet connection.
- Rewards are based on mining uptime, not captured events.
- Limited number of participants.
- Early participation with higher rewards.
Potential Disadvantage
- High speed internet connection with unlimited data usage/high data cap required.
Phase 1 participants have the potential to earn the most rewards and there be no easier way to join the Elumicate network and start mining!
