Elumicate is building the world’s largest global decentralised capture network in order to deliver access to precise real world events data, in real time. This is achieved by utilising a decentralised infrastructure and cutting edge technologies around AI, Edge Computing, Machine Learning, and Blockchain.
Why?
Cities around the world are regularly challenged to provide better quality and more sustainable services, improve public safety, and address congestion and environmental issues. All while being tasked with reducing costs.
Scaling existing infrastructure is a human resource-intensive process that is also difficult, expensive, unmanageable, and unsupportable for most cities with limited budgets. This problem is not specific to cities, the same applies to many more industries and markets.
By eliminating the need for up front effort and capital outlay requirements, we will allow for instant and easy access to real time quality data.
- Cities will be able to better predict future infrastructure requirements, relieve traffic congestion, lower pollution levels, minimise budget costs, enhance public safety, and more.
- Retail stores, developers, road engineers, landlords, realtors, restaurants, marketers and advertisers will all benefit from traffic segmentation, exact counts, and predictive analysis for store placement, future developments, and an overall better understanding of their target markets.
- Road conditions, line monitoring, near misses, speed, debris, potholes, etc. can be reported on in real time.
- First Responders can immediately be dispatched in the events of collisions, health emergencies, crime, or natural disasters.

Anonymous
From inception, all tracking will be fully anonymous, with a strong focus on traffic (pedestrian, bicycles, and motorised vehicles). We seek to allow the market to develop naturally and will add additional tracking features as the demand arises (in a fully anonymous fashion). In the event of a request to track anything that would not be considered fully anonymous, a vote would take place within the community in order to reach a decision on how to proceed (while abiding to local laws).
Owned and controlled by the people
Building out the required infrastructure in a decentralised fashion ensures the participants are the ones in control and making the decisions that will greatly affect their lives and not leave this great power in the hands of others such as governments and large organisations. The Elumicate network will be fully decentralised and governed by it’s community.
Miners (owners of devices acquiring the data) are rewarded with tokens, where the amount of rewards received is dependent on the quantity of data being uploaded. The reward metrics include up time and number of events captured. Reward metrics are based on the capture of data that will be most relevant to early data purchasers. Once the network is fully deployed and the initial token supply has run out, tokens will be distributed only to devices capturing data that is being purchased, ensuring that strategic locations are well rewarded.
Token value
Tokens will be used to reward miners as well as to gain access to the accumulated data. Tokens can be converted into data credits (which are pegged to the USD in value), which will then be used to gain access to the data. This ensures that the value of the accumulated data and token are interconnected.
